Formal 4VM Assessments

The 4VM can be delivered as four formal separate strategic assessments or as a full integrated Strategic Viability Assessment. Each assessment examines one critical vector of decision viability: Intent, Capability, Culture, or Governance.

1. Intent Assessment Determining whether the strategic intent is clear, clean, and defensible. This tests whether the organisation truly knows what it is trying to do, why it is doing it, what decision is being made, and whether the proposed move is free from ego, panic, imitation, confusion, or emotional distortion. Core question: Is the intent clean enough to justify further examination?

2. Capability Assessment Determining whether the organisation has the capability to execute the move soundly. This tests whether the organisation has the money, people, time, systems, operational capacity, knowledge, resilience, and execution strength required to carry out the decision in the real world. Core question: Can the organisation actually do what it says it intends to do?

3. Culture Assessment Determining whether the organisational culture is aligned with the intended move. This tests whether the behaviours, attitudes, loyalties, incentives, trust levels, communication habits, informal power structures, and historical patterns support or obstruct the strategic move. Core question: Will the people, behaviours, and informal norms support the move — or quietly resist it?

4. Governance Assessment Determining whether the organisation has the procedures, controls, authority, and oversight to manage the move. This tests whether authority, accountability, permission, measurement, escalation, correction, ethical oversight, KPIs, CSFs, feedback loops, and decision ownership are properly defined. Core question: Is the move properly controlled, authorised, measured, and accountable?

Assessment Fees

Single Vector Assessment — £2,250 A focused assessment of one strategic vector: Intent, Capability, Culture, or Governance. Includes:

Detailed diagnostic questioning
RAG scoring
Written assessment report
Risk notes
Corrective recommendations
Optional 30-minute follow-up

Two-Vector Assessment — £3,750 A focused assessment of two strategic vectors of your choosing, following the same structured methodology and deliverables as the single vector assessment.

Full 4VM Strategic Viability Assessment — £7,500 All four vectors assessed as a fully integrated Strategic Viability Assessment, providing a complete picture of decision readiness across intent, capability, culture, and governance.

UK On-site Full 4VM Assessment — £8,995 Travel and reasonable expenses charged separately.

International On-site Full 4VM Assessment — Price on application Travel and reasonable expenses charged separately.

Senior Strategic Advisory — £1,500 per day Reserved for bespoke advisory work outside the scope of a fixed-fee 4VM Assessment. This rate applies where the client requires direct strategic input, decision scrutiny, leadership challenge, or organisational analysis, including:

Strategic advisory discussions
Leadership challenge sessions
Preparatory analysis
Follow-up consultation
Implementation discussion

Fees are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Travel, accommodation, and reasonable expenses are charged separately for all on-site work.
